For the most part, underfloor heating kits already include everything that is needed and its installation does not require a large screed, and some can even fit into tile glue. Film electric floors are generally installed dry. Thanks to this, the costs will be lower. And the good news, the installation of electric underfloor heating can be done independently, and the money saved can be spent, for example, on a gift for yourself or your loved one.

The question is important, since we make a decision based on two numbers: how much does the system cost at the start and what the consumption will be during the work and operation of our floor.
It all depends on where we use the warm floor. If this is a country house and the system of water-heated floors is used on large areas, then there is nothing to say, it has no equal, it will “have” an order of magnitude less than an electric one. Especially when the coolant is heated by a gas boiler. But if we are talking about a city apartment or a small country house up to 100 sq m, then the area of application is much smaller and taking into account the high cost of equipment and installation, such a system will pay off for a long time and the most efficient way to create heat is an electric floor heating. And his consumption, by the way, is not that great.

But if we are talking about the use of a warm floor system in a country house of large quadratures, then a water heated floor, of course, is beyond any competition, the costs at the initial stage will quickly pay off due to the savings in its operation. For a city apartment, an electric underfloor heating is really the best solution!
